A little about me :)

Most people call me Kass. I was born in Virginia and lived there until I was 11. My mom, my brothers, and myself then moved to Wyoming and that is what I call home to this day. Growing up, my mom always had us camping every weekend and riding horses. I grew up in the outdoors. I love flamingos. I love moose (but who doesn’t). I love horses, too.

My mom has always said that ever since I could talk I had wanted to be a veterinarian. That changed around my senior year of highschool when I had decided that being a game warden might just be the career I wanted to chase. I graduated from Encampment K-12 School with a class of 6 including myself, in 2020, the year that just plain out sucked for everyone.

I started at the University of Wyoming in August of 2020 where I spent my first 1.5 years fully online due to covid restrictions. I went through college and came out with a Bachelors in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and Management in May of 2024. It wasn’t until my senior year of college that I decided a game warden just wasn’t where I wanted to be. I then decided that I would prefer doing something with Wildlife management over anything else and as I write this, that is still where my heart is. I graduated with people that I will call my friends that became family for life.

I like to think that I’ve worked hard with quite a few odds against me but I could have never made it without the people closest to me. Support systems are so important and I couldn’t have done it without these people. I never thought I would be where I am today and I owe it all to the people that I call friends and family. Now next time I update this post, I hope it’s to say that I am living in Montana doing what I love with wildlife surrounded by the same friends and family that got me here.
